Rare Gem Investments

New York, Calgary, Dubai, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Johannesburg

Investment grade gems are the most concentrated source of wealth in history!

With investment grade gems, you have the ability to carry millions around your neck, on your fingers or in your pocket.  This is fantastic to know during times of political unrest and plummeting and/or unstable currencies.  With immense durability, stones are easily and safely stored and transported.  As well, there are no reporting requirements for investment grade gems.

The “Smart Money” is seeking hard assets.

Tanzanite is 1000 times rarer than Diamond.

Only 1% of Tanzanite is of “Investment Grade” quality.  Don’t be fooled by the marketing terms “AAA+”  or  “AAAA”  or “AAAA+++” or any combination thereof. Within the industry, stones are only known as AAA, AA, A, and so on down the line.  As the largest supplier of polished Tanzanite, we can offer you any size, color or clarity of Tanzanite, however, the purpose of raregeminvestments.com is to offer only the best of the best, the top 1% that is actually AAA Investment Grade.

Why invest in AAA Investment Grade Tanzanite?  The availability of AAA Investment Grade Tanzanite is decreasing on a yearly basis.  It is predicted that this top grade will be mined out within 5-7 years.  It is also predicted that ALL Tanzanite will be mined out within 7-10 years.  The largest rough Tanzanite mining company in the world has stopped mining Tanzanite as of 1 year ago as they haven’t been profitable. Investment grade Tanzanite becomes more rare by the month. What does this mean for the individual Investor?  It means HUGE profit potential.  In the last 20 years, 2 gem stones have been mined out, Paraiba Tourmaline and Russian Alexandrite.  These stones traded in the $300-$500/ct range in the WHOLESALE markets while they were being mined.  When the mines stopped producing several years ago, these stones started selling at $10,000 - $20,000 per carat plus.  Some stones at the high end have reached as high as $60,000/ct.   If you could have purchased these stones 15 years ago at $500/ct, would you?  The prices have risen substantially since then as well.

While maintaining the integrity and anonymity of the exact source, as we don’t want to cause too many ripples within the industry, I will provide you with the actual market pricing within the WHOLESALE industry at this exact moment from the actual catalogue:

AAA Investment Grade Tanzanite is trading at $565-$600/ct

Paraiba Tourmaline - $30,000-$55,000/ct (wholesale, over 1ct size)

Brazilian Alexandrite - $28,000 - $40,000/ct (wholesale, over 1ct size)

You will notice that I priced Brazilian, not Russian, Alexandrite.  The reason being, that  REAL Russian Alexandrite just isn’t available in the market.  Private sales and high end auctions are where it’s found and the prices are vastly higher.

Tanzanite has an even larger profit potential than these 2 stones.  Why is that?  Well, there are still mines that produce Tourmaline and Alexandrite at very reasonable prices, just not Paraiba (Brazilian) Tourmaline or Russian Alexandrite.  Tanzanite, however, is not mined anywhere else in the world, except for Tanzania.  There is only 1 mine in Tanzania and there won’t be any more mines in Tanzania or elsewhere due to the very specific geological conditions in that area.  So, in summary, Tanzanite will be much rarer than either of the other stones that were recently mined out.
